Our Story Begins...

A lifelong student of all things dog led to the start of Big River Canine Coach.
Donna is a graduate of the Certified Professional Trainer Program at National K9 Training Center in Columbus, Ohio.  She attended Cesar Milan's "Training Cesar's Way" program at the Dog Psychology Center in the hills of Santa Clarita, California and has also attended various workshops to enhance the way she trains.

After providing training and boarding services out of her home for a few years, she took the plunge and purchased a building in 2016, which is where we are today.

Donna lives in Clinton, Iowa with her husband Cliff, and their pack of dogs. In her free time you’ll find her boating on the Mississippi with a hound or two, hiking along the river or one of the many timber trails in northeast Iowa.
